Back in May I went to the International Center of Photography’s Photobook Fest, in New York. Looking through the various photobooks I noticed a common theme in the images. Which, in turn, sparked an internal debate as to whether the images I was looking at were really art. Are these, which I would call boring, images really what is now regarded as work of art?
