Hi, I’m Robert. I’m a professional photographer specializing in portrait, product, food, industrial, and travel photography, now based in Taiwan.
My journey with photography started long before I ever picked it up as a profession. Born in Germany and raised across Europe, I eventually spent over 20 years living and working in New York City—a place that taught me how to see stories everywhere, often in the moments between the moments. During that time, I worked as a marketer for one of the world’s leading camera manufacturers, where I had the rare opportunity to learn directly from some of the most passionate and accomplished photographers in North America. What began as a hobby slowly became an essential part of my work, then a passion, and ultimately the path I chose to follow full-time.
Today, photography is how I connect with people, places, and brands. Whether I’m photographing a portrait, a handcrafted product, a beautifully prepared dish, or a landscape shaped by industry and travel, I’m drawn to authenticity. I look for the quiet details, the honest expressions, and the fleeting moments that reveal character and story—I always strive to capture not just how something looks, but how it feels.
I bring an international perspective shaped by Europe, South East Asia, New York, and years in the global creative industry. I work with individuals, businesses, and travelers who value thoughtful, natural imagery that tells a real story—images that feel lived-in, human, and timeless.
