Exposed: Formosa Night Markets

Taiwanese Night Markets, filled with bright lights and dark corners, are part street fairs, part small store vendors, and wholly food heavens, making them a must-have experience for anyone who comes to Formosa Island.

At times, you will be assaulted with loud music, but constantly bombarded by a myriad of nose-tingling scents, some of which, however, stinky tofu is the main culprit, can be less than pleasant. These dizzying crowd-, sound-, and smell-filled streets basically hit all your senses.

And before you know it, you slowly melt into a culinary and cultural trance that leaves you wanting more. Every step you take offers you new mouth-tingling adventures, always making you wonder which hidden delight may await you at the next stall. It is time to explore!
